Business and Innovation Strategy Action Plan launch

Cllr Rob Simister and the SO Business team are pleased to launch the South Oxfordshire District Council Business and Innovation Strategy Action Plan 2017 – 2020. The action plan informs businesses how the council will support them to overcome challenges, and make the most of opportunities to flourish and grow.

Join us to celebrate the launch of the Action Plan at Wallingford’s Old Counting House to hear how you can benefit from the support provided by the SO Business team and the council.

Please RSVP at the Eventbrite link.

The BIS Action Plan outlines four key actions, why action is needed and how the district council will achieve this:

  1. Superfast broadband – We will help your business work smarter through improved access to superfast broadband.
  2. Business space – We will aim to ensure that there is sufficient space for your business to grow.
  3. Skills and employment – We will support businesses struggling to attract and retain staff, addressing key skills gaps.
  4. Business support and communication – We will improve our engagement with businesses to meet their needs.
