The SO Business team, as part of South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils, are on the look out for a new economic development administrative assistant.
The councils are forward thinking local authorities whose aim is to help grow two highly ranked vibrant economies in England. As part of the team you would be supporting the development and delivery of economic development frameworks and action plans; supporting business development and growth in the districts; and promoting rural development initiatives.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the economic development team, plus the chance to be involved in a busy, forward thinking team supporting the councils’ ambitions to grow the local economy, suiting someone who is self motivated and pro-active.
The post holder will require good interpersonal and organisational skills and have a genuine enthusiasm for a customer focused service.
This is a full time post on a permanent contract, working 37 hours a week. This post is at council grade 2, with a full time starting salary from £18,196. An excellent benefits package is on offer including annualised hours (flexible working) and a career average pension scheme.
