South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils are on the look out for a new economic development officer.
As part of the economic development team you would be supporting the development and delivery of economic development frameworks and action plans; supporting business development and growth in the districts; and promoting rural development initiatives.
The councils are forward thinking local authorities which aim to help grow two highly ranked vibrant economies in England. They are looking for an enthusiastic team member who is able to communicate well at all levels. The officer will also provide support to businesses and brief senior management and councillors with up to date economic intelligence. This work will encourage and enable businesses to start up and grow, contributing to the overall economic success of the districts.
This is a full time post on a permanent contract, working 37 hours a week. This post is at council grade 5, with a full time starting salary from £27,348.
