As part of National Apprenticeship week, the Vale4Business team will be co-hosting a free event, which aims to help your business understand the benefits of apprenticeships. With the assistance of experts, we will be answering common questions surrounding the process of taking on apprentices in your organisation.
We will also be highlighting the types of support there is to assist you in the process.
‘Making Sense of Apprenticeships’ will be held at Milton Park Innovation Centre on Tuesday 7 March 2017 between 08:30 – 10:00.
The morning will feature an overview by Oxfordshire Apprenticeships, which is a joint initiative between Oxfordshire County Council and Oxfordshire’s Local Enterprise Partnership. The team promotes apprenticeships and traineeships to young people, parents and employers. We will also feature an apprenticeship ambassador who will be able to explain what it is really like to be in a modern scheme.
The draft programme is:
8.30 am Registration and refreshments (pastries and drinks)
8.45 am Overview of apprenticeships
9.00 am Apprenticeship Ambassador – ‘being an apprentice’
9.15 am How we can help your business
9.30 am Questions to the panel
You can register for the event at this link here. We look forward to seeing you there.
Please note there is no parking at the centre, but there is an overflow car park a short walk away, and the centre is easy to get to by bike, foot or shuttle bus. See the link for more info. Travel to Milton Park.
