Oxfordshire advice service gives businesses a good start

Growing numbers of start-ups in the county are getting off on the right foot thanks to free and impartial advice provided by Oxfordshire Business Enterprises (OBE).

The countywide business advice service joins early stage ventures with a team of volunteer advisors who share their expertise as business owners, directors and professionals.

OBE links people who are looking for advice on a wide range of business issues including self-employment, forming a company, marketing, legal and accounting matters, with its advisors.

Confidential one to-one advisory meetings are free of charge and there is no restriction to the number of consultations each start-up can arrange.

Follow-up appointments are always recommended and support is available for as long as it is needed with one or several of the advisors.

Over the last 20 years OBE has helped over 20,000 people in all parts of the county with the planning and structure of their businesses, attributing the success of its advisors to their friendly approach to sharing their expertise.
