Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards 2018

Oxfordshire Apprenticeships are inviting employers to give their star apprentices the chance to shine by nominating them for an award. The Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards 2018 will celebrate the achievements of the county’s apprentices and recognise the huge contribution they make to our local economy across a wide number of organisations and sectors.

Awards 2018

There are four ‘Apprentice of the Year’ categories – Intermediate, Advanced, Higher and Special Recognition, with an overall Apprentice of the Year to be chosen from the winners. Please encourage any star apprentices you know to enter, or nominate them if they can be a little shy about coming forward.

In addition to focusing on apprentices themselves, the awards also recognise schools, who play a crucial role in inspiring people to consider and start an apprenticeship, as well as training providers, who support and guide them through the progamme.

The awards will recognise the best talent in the county with a special presentation evening on Thursday 1 March 2018 at Blenheim Palace, in the run up to National Apprenticeship Week.

Two new employer categories have also been introduced for 2018 (Small and Large Employer) to celebrate and champion local employers who offer exceptional Apprenticeship schemes. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate your successes as an Apprenticeship employer and shout about what you do! Give yourself a pat on the back and set a great example of good practice to others.

The closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 1 December 2017, so get your entry in ASAP. It’s really easy to do, just download a form from this link. You’ll find all the details about the categories, sponsors and the previous Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards there too.

There are still some sponsorship opportunities available. You can sponsor aspects of the awards or contribute £100 as an official supporter to help make the night an extra special one. Email awards@oxfordshireapprenticeships.co.uk to find out how you can get involved.
