For the first time the annual Careers Fest, run by Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) Skills Team, is open to the public, giving even more young people (and their parents and families) the opportunity to find out all about local career and apprenticeship opportunities.
The event is taking place at MINI Plant Oxford on 6 and 7 February 2018 and will bring together over 50 employers and training organisations representing career choices from an array of industries, including BMW Group (UK), the UK Atomic Energy Agency, Microsoft, Sophos, Nielsen and Thames Valley Police.
In previous years, the event has only been open to school groups, but for the first time this year there will be a special session from 4pm to 7pm on 6 February. This session is open to members of the public, allowing students to attend with their parents, carers and family members.
Booking is essential for the open session. Please visit the booking page, click on ‘Register’ and scroll down to choose your time slot – 4pm, 5pm or 6pm.
