Our vision for Henley-on-Thames is “To be the best town in the world to live, run a business, work, play and visit by 2030”
To help Henley realise this vision, South Oxfordshire District Council is working in partnership with Henley Town Council and The Henley Partnership and have produced a Henley 5-year business plan outlining the long-term vision for the town and key projects and investment priorities, alongside the annual Henley action plan (Henley Action Plan 2017 to 18 Q1 Update) detailing projects that will assist town centre vitality.
The Henley Partnership is a not-for-profit business-led organisation set up to identify, plan and run collaborative projects benefiting the town of Henley. Henley is home to both large and small businesses with a growing creative industries sector as the Inward investment factsheet shows.
Henley is a beautiful place to visit, and to help South Oxfordshire District Council develop the Henley business plan and deliver its market towns strategy, we commissioned research to better understand Henley’s Distinctiveness. See the distinctiveness report.
