OxPropFest 2019: Programme of Walks and Talks
On the day of OxPropFest 2019 first of all there were two walks organised which visited Oxford property and Bicester Village. The Walks were designed to provide walking delegates with a feel of some the capital spend planned in Oxford and how Bicester has become a world class brand and place.
The afternoon saw four talks held at Keble College, Oxford which discussed key projects and opportunities across Oxfordshire. The Oxford to Cambridge Arc investment plans were explored by a key speaker from Bidwells then a panel including representative from OxLEP answered a range of intriguing questions from the audience.
An update on the Milton Park 2040 vision was given by Philip Campbell where he then invited guests to an event on 23 May to find out what shape will it look like, what transport methods will tenants be using and as a result, if Milton Park will have to re-shape as a mixed-use scheme.
Finally, other talks covered the motor sport industry in Oxfordshire, fast growing occupiers need for space and finally the new shape of Oxford.
