Mental Health Awareness Week 2019 runs from Monday 13 to Sunday 19 May
The Mental Health Foundation have written a pdf guide on how to support mental health at work. The guide aims to give readers an idea of how to manage their own mental health at work and how to reach out to colleagues who need help. Also, ideas of working with colleagues to make your workplace more mentally health for everyone.
Not only does good mental health at work coincide with good management, high levels of mental wellbeing can increase productivity by as much as 12%. We spend a large part of our lives at work, having a satisfying job can have a big impact on your health and wellbeing. People who work and have or have had mental health problems add as much as £255 billion per year of value to the UK economy. Protecting these employees and the rest of your workforce is critical to protecting this added value.

SYLO Associates won our South Oxfordshire SME of the Year Award and are now working with Working Minds Matter to run an interactive session on 8 May between 9-11 am on how to recognise, react and resolve mental health and wellbeing situations in your teams at work. The session will cover will help attendees identify the importance in investing in employee wellbeing and workplace mental health.
